Teen's Dream Teen's Dream 1.0

Project highlight:

  • Create Facebook group to participants and mentors as a platform for communication and sharing
  • Use Cloud server for event registration and record submission
  • Form the participants and mentors into groups to enlarge their social network
  • Create Whatsapp groups as communication channel
  • Organise family activities to increase parents' involvement and strengthen their relationship

Activities at a glance:

For participating children
  • Arrange job placement to let participants to learn from experience
  • Provide opportunities for participants to gain experience by hosting booth in Lunar New Year Fair and selling snacks for fund raising
  • Encourage participants to develop their personal interest for building up confidence
  • Personal dimension assessment to help participants to understand their personality and future development
For parents / guardians
  • Provide parenting activities to strengthen family relationship
  • Arrange regular gathering and interest class for parents
For mentors
  • Provide training to mentors related to self-understanding and volunteer skill
  • Diversified gathering activities among participants and mentors to help them build up mutual trust

Mentor recruitment

The "Teen's Dream" project welcomes applications from those who meet the following criteria:

  • Hong Kong resident and aged 21 or above
  • Willing to participate the training and programmes
  • Willing to engage with adolescents
