Project highlight:

  • Leisure Lab Project: Provide diversified activities to develop leisure and related career development (Past activities include workshops on leather, hand-made, vaudeville, balloon twisting, make-up, cooking and Wing Chun; training on climbing, adventure, first-aid, cannoning and abseiling, etc.)
  • Annual award to committed mentor and mentee
  • Diversified volunteer services to encourage the participants to care the community and widen their horizon
  • In addition to 1:1 mentor matching, small group mentoring will be used to foster the linkage between participants and mentors
  • Training on career planning by Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) to participants for helping them to set out the personal development plan

Mentor recruitment

he Wind Beneath My Wings project welcomes applications from those who meet the following criteria. Qualified applicants will be invited to interviews:

  • Aged 18 or above
  • Having integrity, strong moral principles and responsible
  • Committed to all programme training and activities during the three-year period
  • No criminal record in Hong Kong or overseas (self- declaration)
  • Experience of mentoring or service of 10-16 years old children will be an advantage
