CDF Mentors for Ten Years

Mr Andrew Yung

"I've been there and I know what it's like to be an underprivileged child. If the CDF were founded when I was young, I would have a much easier time."

Ms Queeni Ng

"You may think I'm a giver, but in fact, the mentorship programme has given me a chance to understand myself again."

1.2019

Brought up in a grass-root family, Andrew Yung and his life partner Queeni Ng have been relentlessly supporting the mentor-ship programme since the CDF launched its pilot scheme 10 years ago.

Yung believes the young generations will supersede the old ones and we need to hand over Hong Kong to them one day. At this point, he wants to keep them company, to learn and grow with them.

Ng finds more motivated to join the mentorship programme with her partner because they can support and encourage each other along the way. She has gained unprecedented satisfaction by bringing positive changes to young people.
