The composition and performance of this song carry a dual significance. Firstly, it tells the audience about what we have been through, from dreaming to achieving, during the three-year project period. Secondly, it is jointly composed by mentees and mentors, which embodies our collective memory.

With this song we hope to encourage those who are also working hard towards their dreams. There may be difficulties and obstacles, but as the lyrics go “do not forget your aspiration and show no fear”. Don’t lose the chance to chase your dreams.

 

My fellow graduates and I looked so much forward to performing at the graduation ceremony. After all, we have become good friends because of the project. It was particularly meaningful for us to stand together on the same stage at that very moment.

Compared with those of previous events, our performance had a larger audience, venue and scale of production. From preparation to rehearsal, everyone involved did their jobs professionally. When there were diverse views, we sought to accommodate each other by making adjustments and improvements. Our performance turned out to be a success.

Although the project has come to an end, we will continue to equip ourselves, prepare for every opportunity that may arise and use music to remind people to keep pursuing their dreams.
