The Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks (HKSTP) Corporation has regularly organised Science and Technology Experience Day for CDF since 2016. On the Experience Day, workshops with suitable contents are organised in an interactive and interesting manner for participants according to their age to help them acquire more knowledge about the application of technology and arouse their interest in the field of innovation and technology.

 "I dream of being an astronomer."
LEUNG Man-tai Aged 17 The Free Methodist Church of Hong Kong LEUNG Man-tai, who is a Form 5 pure science student, has developed a strong interest in astronomy since he was a small child. He likes studying stars and reading books about them, and he has even decided to make use of his Targeted Savings to participate in astronomy activities and buy an astronomical telescope. "I know clearly that there are limited prospects in respect of both further studies and employment for a pure science graduate in Hong Kong. If one day my life is so difficult that I can’t even meet the basic living needs and I have to take up other jobs, astronomy and science will still remain my interests. Before the coming of such a day, I really can’t think of any reason for giving up my dream. I believe that I will become an astronomer one day." |
