French May Arts Festival
To explore the art and cultural features of France
The French May Arts Festival is one of Hong Kong's largest annual arts and cultural festivals which has gathered renowned artists and groups in the art world, as well as Hong Kong local artists and groups to promote Hong Kong-France cultural exchange activities via organising art activities with unique Hong Kong local characteristics and French lifestyle and heritage.
This year, French May selected four programmes especially for CDF participants, including "HK Phil: Happy Gabby's Debussy Musical Adventure", "Hope & Harmony" by Niu Niu & Laurent Perrin, "Jazz in French Films feat. Patrick Lui Jazz Orchestra" and "Hong Kong Sinfonietta – La Belle Époque: Women in Love: French Opera Arias". About 90 participants had the chance to explore the art and cultural features of France.
